Qualifications:​

• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting is essential.

• Strong classroom management skills to create an effective learning environment.

• Knowledge of childcare best practices and early childhood development principles.

• Ability to develop engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of young learners.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students and parents.

• Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development in early childhood education.

Perferred:​

• CPR/first aid certification (or willingness to obtain)​

• Bilingual (especially ESL)

• College degree

• Experience in childcare or early childhood education preferred

• Weekly lesson planning​

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with Creative Curriculum education standards.

• Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.

• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster strong relationships.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

• Incorporate physical education activities to promote health and wellness among preschoolers.

• Utilize special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.

• Participate in curriculum development that encourages creativity and critical thinking.

• Provide early intervention strategies for children who may require additional support.

• Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes learning through play.
