Qualifications:

Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting is essential.

Strong classroom management skills to create an effective learning environment.

Knowledge of childcare best practices and early childhood development principles.

Ability to develop engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of young learners.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students and parents.

Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.

Commitment to ongoing professional development in early childhood education.

Perferred:

CPR/first aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Bilingual (especially ESL)

Duties

Weekly lesson planning

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with Creative Curriculum education standards.

Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.

Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster strong relationships.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

Incorporate physical education activities to promote health and wellness among preschoolers.

Utilize special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.

Participate in curriculum development that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
